Can I still drink my green tea after it changes color from green to brown? What causes the change?

Green Tea
BB asked:

Is it being oxidized? Isn’t it supposed to be an antioxidant.
I always prefer to drink my green tea after it’s cool(don’t like putting ice). So most of the time I drink them when the color already changed.

If you leave the tea bags or tea leaves in your cup too long, the color of the water will get darker. The water shouldn’t change color if there’s no tea leaves in the the cup.

The green tea catechins have been oxidised. Just like an apple turning brown.

That’s why it is always preferable to drink green tea hot :)
Here is an article that explain green tea drinking in more details.
